100% Kiwi ingenuity, designed for a world of adventure
If the sun’s out, we’re out! I guess you could call us “outdoorsy”. We believe that life’s too short to squint in the sun. Down in New Zealand, we lay claim to some of the harshest UV rays in the world (show-offs). Sunnies are a must, but being precious about them spoils the fun. After waving goodbye to many pairs overboard, we knew there just had to be a better way to protect our eyes and keep our glasses safe.
As a family of relentless perfectionists, it took four years of living and breathing SlapSee to create the smartest, most secure pair of sunnies in the world. All this while making sure we tred lightly on the planet we love — we’ve made every aspect of our glasses as recyclable as possible.
Why so great?
Our secret sauce is all in the ground-breaking frames, which feature a special hinged nose-bridge, and in the silicone-coated sprung-steel arms. SlapSee are the first sunglasses in the world that 'clip' to your head so they won't fall off, then fold to 'slap' around your wrist, ankle, handlebars, car or boat wheel, or whatever else takes your fancy.
Like a hardy water bottle and sunscreen, SlapSee are an essential accessory for active lifestyles. They’re both durable and lightweight – and the lenses are polarised with a UV400 grading, which blocks 100% of harmful UV rays.
SlapSee are available in different frame colours, and a range of different 'slap' colours, so you can score the perfect pair to suit your style.
Fishing, beach-volleyballing, biking, wakeboarding, kayaking, snowboarding, rock climbing… SlapSee are going nowhere, to go with you everywhere.
