SlapSee are an innovative sunglass that hold tight to your head, then easily collapse and wrap around your wrist for convenience.


Who are they made for?

SlapSee are the perfect recreational sunglasses! Ideal for a variety of sports; cycling, fishing, golf, jet skiing, kite surfing, paddle boarding, running, tennis, volleyball, windsurfing, zip lining to name just a few. The Original range (non-polarized) are also great for backyard activities such as farming, gardening, hiking, hunting, milking, skateboarding, tramping, and trampolining!


Who do they fit?

SlapSee have a unique world first design which means the glasses fit all head shapes and sizes from ages 7 to 700!


What type of lenses do you use?

The Original range of SlapSee have a PC (Polycarbonate) lens. The Anti-UV Grade is 400 which blocks 100% of UV rays.
The Pro range of SlapSee have a PC (Polycarbonate) Category 3 polarized lens. The Anti-UV Grade is 400 which blocks 100% of UV rays.

Both lens types are rigorously tested and meet the dropball test in the US to ensure they are impact resistant ie bullet proof!


Do you have International Certifications?

All SlapSee meet the following international standards: USA ANSI Z80.3; AS/NZS 1067; Europe EN ISO 12311:2013 & EN ISO 12312-1:203; CE compliant


What are the frames made from?

The frame of your SlapSee is made from Nylon TR90 which is a material widely used in frames for the glasses industry.


What are the ‘slaps’ made from?

The Arm or Slap of your SlapSee is made from inner sprung steel covered with silicone to ensure no exposed metal and ultimate comfort whilst wearing.


How durable are they?

SlapSee are made to last and have been tested to 4000 slaps! Should you experience otherwise please contact us for replacement


Can I have prescription lenses fitted?

Due to the specialised nature of prescription lenses, we are unable to fit these for you, however your local optometrist should be able to supply and fit your prescription lenses for you

Shipping & Delivery

Deliveries within New Zealand and Australia
We deliver across New Zealand and Australia using a tracked service via NZ POST.

Once you’ve placed your order, you’ll receive a confirmation email with delivery details and tracking information, so you can track the status of your package. It should arrive within approximately 2–5 business days. Please be aware that events such as public holidays and extreme weather may delay delivery.

Delays on behalf of the courier are unfortunately, out of our control. But we’ll always do our best to help you get your order as soon as possible.

New Zealand and Australia Shipping Charges

We can deliver to any physical address in New Zealand or Australia. Please note, we don’t deliver to PO boxes at this time.

$5.00 Courier delivery fee, New Zealand-wide
$10.00 Courier delivery fee, Australia-wide
All online orders over $50 to an address within New Zealand will be freight FREE.
All online orders over $100 to an address within Australia will be freight FREE.
Please note the freight-free offer only applies to orders made online at www.slapsee.com. This offer is not available for orders placed at physical stores and retailers.

Untracked International Delivery

We can deliver to the Asia, North America, Europe and the rest of the world using an untracked service via NZ POST.

Once your order is packed, you’ll receive a confirmation email with delivery details and a parcel number as proof of dispatch. This number does not allow us to track the status of your package which should arrive within approximately 7 to 28 business days. Delays can occur due to customs import regulations within your country. Please be aware that if you choose untracked delivery we are unable to assist if your parcel does not arrive.

We recommend you choose a Tracked delivery service.

Tracked International Delivery

Via DHL Express, we’re able to deliver to Asia, North America, Europe and the rest of the world.

Once your order is packed, you’ll receive a confirmation email with delivery details and a tracking number to keep an eye on your parcel. DHL will deliver within approximately 2 to 5 business days. Delays can occur due to customs import regulations within your country.
We recommend using this tracked service.

Import Duties and Tax

Orders shipped outside New Zealand may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country.

The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient’s country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and can’t predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for more information.

When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.

Returns

Should your order not be suitable SlapSee will happily provide an exchange or credit voucher provided that;

· The goods are returned within 28 days and accompanied by a receipt of purchase

· The goods need to be in original condition as purchased

The above does not apply to
· sale goods, which are not returnable

· goods which are undelivered due to unpaid Import Duties and Taxes

· change of mind or circumstances

· Shipping charges


Exchanges are at the expense of the customer if exchanged via post or courier.

If goods are faulty we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act, but proof of purchase is required. Faulty goods must be returned to us as soon as possible.

Freight charges will not be borne by you if you are located within New Zealand (North & South Island). If you are located outside New Zealand (North & South Island) and you wish to return faulty goods to us (for repair or otherwise), then, to the fullest extent permitted by law, you will be responsible for the freight and handling charges associated with: (a) returning the goods to us; and (b) delivering any repaired or replacement goods back to you.

We will advise you of the freight and handling costs associated with returning repaired or replacement goods to us in such circumstances and the repaired or replacement goods will not be sent to you until you have confirmed that you will pay the freight and handling costs.


To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)

· Damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error

· Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery


Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within 28 days. Refunds cannot be made to another source of payment.


Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.


Exchanges

SlapSee will replace items if they are defective. To exchange your sunnies for the same item, send us an email at admin@slapsee.com and send your item to: 458 Richmond Road, Grey Lynn, Auckland, New Zealand. 1021.


Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.


Shipping

To return your product, you should mail your product to: 458 Richmond Road, Grey Lynn, Auckland, New Zealand. 1021.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

When returning goods, we recommend you should use a trackable shipping service or purchase shipping insurance as we don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

How do I know my order has gone through and payment has been confirmed?

When you process your order in the checkout the page will notify you if your payment has been accepted or denied.
Once your payment has been received you will receive an email confirming that your order is now being processed and an email with your tracking number once your order has left our warehouse


When will my order be despatched?

We aim to have your order on the courier as soon as we can. Please allow 2 to 3 working days for Auckland deliveries and 3 to 4 days for out of Auckland deliveries. Rural Deliveries can take an extra 2 to 3 days (Please make sure you mention your RD when placing your order to avoid further hold up)
Public Holiday periods please allow a few extra working days to receive your delivery.
During the Christmas period please expect the courier delivery to take a little longer than usual!



What happens if an item I purchased sells out and ends up being unavailable?

This is not a likely occurrence, however, sometimes we run out of stock after your shopping cart has been submitted.
We try to avoid this frustration as much as possible. If this does happen to you, you will receive an email from us stating the product that is out of stock and whether you would like to exchange it for another product with some options for you to choose from, or receive a refund.


Is there a cost if I decide to return my item via courier?

If you have ordered the wrong item or have changed your mind about your order you will be charged for shipping costs to return the item.
If you receive an item which is faulty or broken we are happy to replace the goods and pay for shipping.


I've ordered the wrong item, what do I do?

In the case of ordering the wrong item you will need to let us know ASAP by emailing online@slapsee.com and we will do our best to resolve it for you.
If your order has already been dispatched, you may incur additional shipping charges.


A part of my item is broken, do you stock parts?

No, if your SlapSee are defective or broken you would need to replace the complete product. Please contact us at admin@slapsee.com


What is a promo code?

From time to time we may send special offers in our advertisements where you can use promotional codes online at SlapSee.com. Promotional codes or 'Promo Codes' entitle you to receive discounts on items between specified dates. To use a Promo Code online offer, simply type the code into the Promo Code area at checkout. Please make sure you read any Promo Code Terms and Conditions. Promo codes are not compulsory. If you do not have a promo code, you can bypass this section. Please note we are unable to apply Promo Codes to completed orders.


What is Slapsee doing to protect the environment?

Here at SlapSee we are environmentally conscious. We use biodegradable materials and packaging where possible and we use paper bags for your gifts in store.
