Delivery within New Zealand and Australia

SlapSee delivers across New Zealand and Australia using a tracked service via NZ POST.

We know you don’t want to wait for your SlapSee, so we aim to dispatch your order asap and have it arrive within approximately 2-5 business days.

You will receive a confirmation email with delivery details and tracking information when you've made payment, so you can track the status of your package.

Please be aware events such as Public holidays and extreme weather can delay this service.

Delays on behalf of the courier are out of SlapSee control and we cannot take responsibility for them however we will do our best to help get your order to you as soon as possible.

Import Duties and Taxes

Orders shipped outside New Zealand may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient’s country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and can’t predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for more information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.

 

Returns / Refunds

Returns

Should your order not be suitable SlapSee will happily provide an exchange or credit voucher provided that;

  •        The goods are returned within 28 days and accompanied by a receipt of purchase
  •        The goods need to be in original condition as purchased

The above does not apply to

  •        sale goods, which are not returnable
  •        goods which are undelivered due to unpaid Import Duties and Taxes
  •        change of mind or circumstances
  •        Shipping charges

Exchanges are at the expense of the customer if exchanged via post or courier.

If goods are faulty we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act, but proof of purchase is required. Faulty goods must be returned to us as soon as possible. Freight charges will not be borne by you if you are located within New Zealand (North & South Island). If you are located outside New Zealand (North & South Island) and you wish to return faulty goods to us (for repair or otherwise), then, to the fullest extent permitted by law, you will be responsible for the freight and handling charges associated with: (a) returning the goods to us; and (b) delivering any repaired or replacement goods back to you. We will advise you of the freight and handling costs associated with returning repaired or replacement goods to us in such circumstances and the repaired or replacement goods will not be sent to you until you have confirmed that you will pay the freight and handling costs.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)

  •        Damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  •        Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

 

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within 28 days.  Refunds cannot be made to another source of payment.

 

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

 

Exchanges

SlapSee will replace items if they are defective.  To exchange your sunnies for the same item, send us an email at admin@slapsee.com and send your item to: 458 Richmond Road, Grey Lynn, Auckland, New Zealand. 1021.

 

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

 

Shipping

To return your product, you should mail your product to: 458 Richmond Road, Grey Lynn, Auckland, New Zealand. 1021.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

When returning goods, we recommend you should use a trackable shipping service or purchase shipping insurance as we don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
